I.T.S.

A positive, wholesome group, I.T.S. (Inspired to Succeed) fuels any venue with fun and energy. Drawing from an extensive and diverse song list, a sample set might follow slamming dance tunes with cool R&B grooves, mixing in Motown, disco, beach music and hits from the last five decades. Hot dance choreography adds to the show. I.T.S. plays at a comfortable listening level, adjusting to crowd and stage size.

Band founder Larry Gibson is an accomplished guitarist who also plays keyboards, bass keys and does lead and background vocals. With his former band Snapp, he toured hotels, resorts, nightclubs, colleges in Japan, Taiwan, Canada and the United States. Lead vocalist Tanya Smith has toured Japan and the U.S. and has opened for artists including George Clinton, Run DMC, and The Temptations. Katrina L. Johnson plays some percussion and some keyboards and also sings and dances. She has toured hotels, lounges and colleges in the U.S. Drummer Reynard McPherson, who played snare and marimbas with the Buckeye State Cabolaros Drum and Bugle Band, is living out a lifelong dream by bringing out the beat that keeps audiences on their feet.

I.T.S. is available as a four- or five-member group for tours in Korea, Taiwan, Japan and Europe. The group is also producing its first CD.
